AddTrust2Enterprise (A2E) is designed especially to fit large companies and organisations making it easy for them to start offering services extensively and cost effectively over the Internet.

Outsourcing and full control

A2E is an outsourced PKI service, i.e. you use an existing, trusted infrastructure to issue certificates for individuals in order to secure your network applications. By this approach you get a very cost effective solution. You manage your CA solution via an intuitive web interface. You appoint one person to be the main A2E administrator. That person decides service customisation like certificate content, ways to apply for certificates, lifecycles, policy, etc. Flexible and easily managed

AddTrust has put a lot of effort to make it very easy for employees, partners and customers to apply and renew for a certificate and for the company agents to validate a certificate request and to revoke a certificate. All this is done via an easy to use web interface, which the administrator can customize. The administrator can handle operational functions like validation, revocation and audit, but can also delegate such functions to subordinate enterprise agents. Further, employees, customers and persons at partnering companies effect enrolment and renewal via the web interface.

Externally recognized certificates

The certificates are issued according to recognized standard processes and procedures governed by AddTrust's policy. This is done in a very secure environment at your TSP (Trust Service Provider). The TSP is certified by a 3rd party auditor and meets the AddTrust Conformity Assessment Criteria based on ETSI standards. This means that you can trust the certificates when giving people access to company confidential information and data.

AddTrust is one of an exclusive group of companies that have root keys in recognized browsers on the market and thus the A2E certificates will be accepted by the browsers without any warning texts popping up.

Thanks to the AddTrust brand and liability, external parties will also accept the A2E certificates.
